Slovácko is the beauty of Chriby Forest, Pálava or the White Carpathians. It is the majesty of the castles in Milotice, Buchlovice or Lednice. It is the fortress of the Buchlov and Cimburk castles. These are pilgrimage sites of Velehrad, Žarošice or the Great Moravian castles of St. Clement, Mikulčice and Pohanska.

Defender of the eastern border of Czech Crown lands. Buchlov is one of the oldest castles in the Czech Republic. Its origins date back to the first half of the 13th century. The meaning of the castle lies above all in the unique preservation of the original architectural elements of the individual parts of the building. This is one of the rare examples in our architecture. The never-forgotten fortress is also a demonstration of the transformation of the austere Gothic castle into a comfortable Renaissance mansion.

The Castle of St. Clement or Mount St. Clement (the local name Klimentek) is a place of pilgrimage and an important archaeological site. It is one of the spiritual places deeply connected with the history of Moravia. The castle is associated with the Cyrillo-Methodian tradition. The naming of the site derives from the tradition that St. Cyril and St. Cyril and St. Metoděj transferred the remains of Pope St. John the Baptist from Chersonese to this place. It is very probable that the Cyril and Methodius Bible transcripts have been completed here in Old Slavonic.
